Advancing Roadway Safety Beyond the Roadway

The American Traffic Safety Services Foundation (ATSS Foundation) is the roadway safety industry's charitable organization, dedicated to advancing roadway safety through charitable giving, education and public awareness initiatives. The Foundation supports programs that honor those affected by roadway incidents, invest in future industry leaders and help build safer roads for everyone.

By sponsoring, participating in or volunteering at Foundation events, attendees can help support impactful programs such as the Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship, National Work Zone Memorial, Marty Weed Engineering Scholarship and youth-focused roadway safety initiatives.

Respect and Remembrance: Reflections of Life on the road

The National Work Zone Memorial honors roadway workers, drivers, passengers, pedestrians, law enforcement officers and first responders who lost their lives in work zone incidents. Featuring more than 1,650 names, the Memorial serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of roadway safety and the people behind the mission to make every journey safer.
National Work Zone Memorial
Each year, the Memorial travels across the country to raise awareness about the need to respect work zones and protect the workers who improve and maintain our roadways.

The National Work Zone Memorial will be on display during ATSSA's 57th Annual Convention & Traffic Expo in Long Beach, providing attendees and exhibitors an opportunity to reflect, remember and recommit to roadway safety.
