ATSSA National Media Award
For nearly a decade, ATSSA has recognized fair, balanced and informative transportation reporting by awarding members of the press during its Annual Convention & Traffic Expo.
Initially, the media award was developed through ATSSA’s Safety and Public Awareness Committee. It provides state transportation departments the opportunity to publicly recognize and honor a reporter, news organization, blogger or freelancer who has been fair, balanced and informative in reporting transportation issues.
The ninth annual 2020 National Media Award accepted nominations through Oct. 16. Members of Department of Transportation (DOT) communications offices are eligible to nominate an individual or organization who has been fair, balanced and informative in reporting transportation-related issues on radio, television, newspaper and/or the web.
Visit the ATSSA Member and Industry Awards page to learn more.
