Media credentials
ATSSA's Annual Convention & Traffic Expo is a professional event that is not open to the general public, and as such, all individuals attending the event must be credentialed accordingly for admittance. It is strongly recommended that members of the media register in advance.

ATSSA National Media Award
For a decade, ATSSA has recognized fair, balanced and informative transportation reporting by awarding members of the press during its Annual Convention & Traffic Expo.
Initially, the media award was developed through ATSSA’s Safety and Public Awareness Committee. It provides state transportation departments the opportunity to publicly recognize and honor a reporter, news organization, blogger or freelancer who has been fair, balanced and informative in reporting transportation issues.
Employees at a Department of Transportation (DOT) or transportation agency are eligible to nominate an individual or organization who has been fair, balanced and informative in reporting transportation-related issues on radio, television, newspaper and/or the web. Recipients of this award may NOT be employees of a government agency, highway department or DOT.
Visit the ATSSA Member and Industry Awards page to learn more, see previous recipients and submit a nomination.
